Job summary

Ugep Energy is seeking a Design Engineer to develop construction-ready designs for rooftop, commercial, and utility-scale solar PV projects. You will translate concepts into efficient, high-quality designs while collaborating with Sales Consultants and clients.

Responsibilities include creating site layouts, BOMs, and electrical designs, coordinating with procurement, and supporting operations and sales. Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with a PRC license is required; AutoCAD and PVSyst

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a valid PRC license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of engineering deliverables for rooftop, commercial, and utility-scale solar projects.
• Verify initial system layout and equipment locations specified by Sales Team.
• Complete system designs for PV projects including site plans, layout, and BOMs.
• Interface with procurement/operations to provide BOMs and project details.
• Provide engineering support to operations, service, and sales as needed.
• Understand and evaluate product design limits and alternatives.
