This contract-based, remote role involves creating calendars, writing copy, designing visuals, tracking metrics, and staying ahead of wellness and coaching trends.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Social Media Manager who can take full ownership of a client's social presence — from planning to execution to reporting. You'll be managing accounts on behalf of real coaches and practitioners, so you need to understand how to translate their expertise and voice into content that builds trust and attracts clients. This isn't a role for someone who just schedules posts — we need someone who can run a client's channel like it's their own business.

BizEx (The Business Expander) is a turnkey virtual assistant and digital support agency helping health and wellness professionals grow and scale online. We work with functional medicine doctors, nutritionists, therapists, coaches, and wellness brands to bring structure, systems, and strategy into their businesses—so they can focus more on serving their clients and less on day-to-day management.

Beyond individual practices, we also partner with system integrators who serve the same space. Together, we help them build both sides of their business—from marketing and funnel execution to backend operations and automation—creating seamless support for their health and wellness partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Own the full content lifecycle for client accounts: strategy, creation, scheduling, publishing, and community management

Audit existing client social accounts and identify gaps, opportunities, and quick wins

Build and maintain content calendars aligned with each client's brand voice and business goals

Write copy and source or create visuals (graphics, short-form video, reels) that reflect the client's expertise and personality

Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs, and manage community in real time

Track performance metrics per client and turn data into clear, actionable recommendations

Stay current on platform trends relevant to the wellness/coaching space and adjust tactics as needed

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Are:

Organized enough to juggle multiple client calendars without dropping a beat

Genuinely curious about wellness, health, and coaching — not just posting content, but understanding the space

Comfortable being the voice of someone else's brand, and good at capturing a client's personality authentically

Comfortable with scheduling/analytics tools (Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, etc.)

Proactive about spotting what's not working instead of waiting to be told

Someone who treats every client account like it's your own small business

Nice to have:

Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)

Video editing experience for Reels/TikTok/Shorts

Experience working with multiple clients simultaneously in an agency or VA setting

Familiarity with Practice Better, wellness booking platforms, or coaching business models

Copywriting or email marketing experience

This is a contract-based role, and hours will depend on the client package assigned. You’ll start with one test account, and grow into more if your performance is solid. Client packages range from 20 to 200 hours/month, shared with the rest of the team.
