Who We Are
July Social is a Manila-based boutique social agency. We work with legacy brands, premium hospitality, F&B, and lifestyle clients across the Philippines and internationally. Fewer accounts, sharper work. We're an AI-driven agency. AI tools and agents are part of how we run, every day.
The Role
We're hiring a Social Media & Content Manager to keep our content output consistent across three streams: our client accounts, our own agency feeds, and the founder's personal brand. The scope spans social media, email marketing, and blog posting.
You'll bring the content ideas that fill the calendar. The bigger strategy and messaging come from your Senior Account Manager. You bring the trend awareness, the cultural fluency, and the moment-by-moment ideas that turn strategy into posts people actually stop scrolling for.
You'll work alongside our AI tools and agents as part of the day-to-day. This role is about reliability, cadence, craft, and creative instinct.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage social media for multiple client accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Youtube/Shorts.
- Build and maintain monthly content calendars per client. Keep posting on cadence.
- Generate content ideas that fit each client's calendar and brand. Spot trends early, translate them into client-appropriate posts, and propose them to your AM.
- Write captions in the client's voice. Shift cleanly between brands without every account sounding the same.
- Schedule posts, manage replies and DMs in-brand, surface community moments worth amplifying.
- Run basic email marketing across client accounts and our own list. Build campaigns, send newsletters and edms, manage segments, keep the send calendar moving.
- Write and publish blog posts on client websites. Format for the CMS, schedule, apply basic on-page SEO (title tags, meta descriptions, internal links).
- Brief our production team (designers, video editors) on what each client needs.
- Use our AI stack to draft, repurpose, and scale your output without losing voice.
- Pull monthly reports on what posted, what landed, what to adjust. Cover social, email, and blog performance.
- Coordinate with specialist freelancers (paid, SEO, influencer, content teams) when their work needs to land on the social media calendars.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of social media experience (agency or in-house brand).
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. Equivalent experience accepted.
- Lives and breathes social media. You follow the platforms personally, not just professionally. You spot trends before they peak. You understand why certain posts hit and others don't. You can name three accounts you've been obsessed with this month and tell us why.
- Creative instinct. You bring real ideas to the calendar, not just execution. The bigger strategy comes from your AM. You translate that strategy into posts worth scrolling for, week after week.
- Comfortable working with AI tools and agents. You can brief AI clearly, work alongside it daily, and judge when the output is right or wrong. You don't need to be a prompt engineer, but practical prompting is a baseline. We'll train you on our specific stack and agents, but you need to be comfortable with the medium already.
- Basic email marketing experience. You've built and sent campaigns on Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, MailerLite, or a similar platform. You understand list segmentation, subject line testing, and reading basic email metrics.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Later, Meta Business Suite, native platform scheduling, or similar).
- Community management experience. You reply to comments and DMs in-brand, not generic.
- Comfortable with remote collaboration tools (Monday, Discord, Google Workspace).
