Job summary

CVJR Builders is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer (Civil Engineering) to join our Silang, Cavite construction team. This full-time role oversees on-site operations, enforces quality, and ensures compliance with project specs and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 2–4 years of site experience, and strong drawing interpretation, communication, and problem-solving skills. PE license is a plus. Join us to contribute to diverse projects across the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• PE license or CE registration is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety standards, and project management practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures in construction.
• Physical capability to work on-site in varying weather conditions.
• Preferred experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate between the project management office and on-site workforce to ensure effective project delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality of materials, and adherence to construction plans and specifications.
• Review and approve construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications before implementation on-site.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily site reports, progress records, and quality assurance reports.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction, implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and protocols on-site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progression.
• Conduct material testing and verification to ensure all resources meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Support project managers in budget tracking, cost control, and resource management.
• Maintain communication with clients and project supervisors regarding project status and any concerns.
