Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, has at least 5 years of on-site experience, and can read drawings while using AutoCAD and project management tools to drive efficiency.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team at PALACE CONSTRUCTION INC.' in Bacolod City. As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution and successful delivery of our construction projects. This full-time position requires a strong background in Civil/Structural Engineering and the ability to effectively manage on-site operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on site to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

• Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and seamless project delivery

• Monitor site progress, identify and resolve issues, and implement necessary corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and site records

• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures

What We're Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project documents

• Familiar with construction methods, materials, and equipment

• Proficient in using relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, project management, and site monitoring applications
