Job summary

Casas+Architects, Inc. in Davao City seeks an experienced Site Architect to support ongoing projects. This role is primarily work-from-home, with on-site reporting to project sites as required for inspections, coordination, testing, and punch listings.

The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with strong construction and site experience, excellent technical judgment, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in the Philippines with active PRC license.
• Graduate of BS Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in large-scale, high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, or institutional projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and monitor architectural works for compliance with drawings, specs, samples, mock-ups, and workmanship standards.
• Review RFIs and RFAs based on construction documents and applicable codes.
• Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups, and method statements for compliance with design intent.
• Identify and resolve site discrepancies, coordination conflicts, deviations, and constructability or quality issues.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with Structural, MEPF, Façade, Interior Design, Landscape, Fire Protection, and other specialists.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings, site meetings, inspections, testing, mock-up reviews, punch listing, and handover activities.
• Prepare clear site reports, field observations, meeting inputs, recommendations, and other construction documentation.
• Monitor architectural works against latest approved construction documents and revisions.
• Review as-built drawings and verify consistency with site conditions.
• Maintain and monitor records of RFIs, RFAs, submittals, site instructions, observations, non-conformances, punch lists, and outstanding works.
• Ensure proper document control and revision management to prevent superseded information.

This is aprimarily work-from-home position, with the successful candidate expected toreport to our Davao project sites whenever requiredfor inspections, coordination meetings, site concerns, testing, mock-up reviews, punch listing, and other project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Site attendance may occasionally be required onshort notice for urgent project or construction matters.

• Must be comfortable working independently in a remote setup while maintaining close and responsive coordination with the project team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in the Philippineswith an active PRC license.

• Graduate ofBS Architecture.

• Minimum8 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience inconstruction administration, site supervision and coordination, technical documentation, and architectural detailing.
