Job summary

Primo Innovations Development Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensure works follow approved plans and project requirements, and coordinate with the Project Manager, site architect, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a licensed civil engineer is preferred or required depending on project needs, and at least 2 years in site supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred or required depending on project.
• At least 2 years of experience in construction site supervision.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and reading construction drawings.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, quantity take-off, and basic project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site.
• Ensure that construction works are executed in accordance with approved plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Architect, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship and quality of works.
• Check actual site measurements, dimensions, elevations, and quantities against approved drawings.
• Review structural, architectural, and MEPF drawings and coordinate conflicts or discrepancies before execution.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and work productivity on-site.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring the project schedule and daily work targets.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, accomplishment reports, and other required project documentation.
• Assist in quantity take-off, material estimation, and preparation of material requests.
• Monitor deliveries and ensure that materials received are in accordance with approved specifications.
• Identify construction issues, delays, and potential problems and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Assist in preparing punch lists and monitor rectification of defective or incomplete works.
• Coordinate inspections and testing of completed works when required.
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules and company construction procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation of site activities, instructions, inspections, and changes.
• Perform other engineering and site-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple site activities.

• Willing to work on-site and conduct field inspections as required.

• Willing to work extended hours when project requirements demand.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in reinforced concrete, structural, architectural, and finishing works.

• Knowledge of construction estimating and quantity surveying.

• Familiarity with construction documentation, RFIs, site instructions, and inspection reports.

• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and construction workers.

• Knowledge of Philippine construction practices and standards.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
