Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation is seeking a qualified, experienced Supervisor—Maintenance(Shutdown) to lead a multidisciplinary team in the Processing Plant at the Didipio site in the Philippines. You will drive shutdown planning, execution and improvements while maintaining a Zero-Injury workplace and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of maintenance activities.

The role reports to the Superintendent – Maintenance (Shutdown) and requires a strong track record in supervisory roles within the

Qualifications

• 7 years of supervisory experience in the metal/mining industry
• Licensed mechanical or electrical engineer or related field
• Graduate of mechanical or electrical engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Maintenance Planners (Shutdown), Specialists (Shutdown) and Mechanical Engineers.
• Develop and implement maintenance shutdown strategies for Processing Plant equipment.
• Ensure shutdowns are delivered on time and within budget, aligned with OceanaGold values and goals.
• Manage schedules, establishment, preparation, execution and improvement phases of planned shutdowns.
