Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking a Specialist – Maintenance Planning (Shutdown) to manage maintenance shutdowns and project schedules at the Didipio mine in the Philippines. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and detailed planning from establishment to completion.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 3 years in shutdown planning are required, with a license to practice engineering and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years in maintenance shutdown planning & scheduling.
• Experience in maintenance of fixed plant equipment (e.g., grinding mills, conveyors, crushers, pumps, filters, electrical motors).
• PRC License (Pass Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) and valid Professional Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Identify shutdown-related work-scope and review objectives.
• Ensure detailed work order planning with task breakdown and resource allocation.
• Generate and manage shutdown schedules for engineering and planning.
• Lead meetings to refine schedule within budgeted timeframe and assess implications.
• Coordinate with shutdown team on materials and logistics for planned activities.
