Job summary

OceanaGold seeks a Superintendent – Maintenance (Underground Maintenance) to lead underground mobile and fixed plant maintenance at the Didipio mine in the Philippines. You will implement work management processes, develop maintenance programs, and drive reliability across the operation.

The role reports to Asset Maintenance leadership and requires strong coaching of supervisors and technicians. Key tasks include managing maintenance execution per plans, ensuring high-quality work, and

Qualifications

• 15 years mining experience
• 5 years as a superintendent
• Professional Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Manage underground mobile and fixed plant maintenance activities based on plans and priorities.
• Ensure work quality through coaching and field reviews with supervisors and technicians.
• Review maintenance plans for resource allocation and timelines.
• Ensure PM tasks/strategies in Pronto CMMS are accurate and relevant.
• Ensure work is completed within approved timeframes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and incidents.
• Mentor maintenance personnel to improve operations.
• Support development programs for apprentices and maintenance leadership.
