Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking a Specialist – Maintenance Planning (Shutdown) for the Didipio mine in the Philippines. The role focuses on creating and overseeing maintenance shutdown and project schedules within Process Fixed Plant areas, ensuring timely execution and compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in shutdown planning, a maintenance engineering background, and a driver’s license. PRC license and mining industry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years in maintenance shutdown planning & scheduling role; maintaining fixed plant equipment.
• Experience in material planning and understanding supply chain process.
• Maintenance engineering background and experience.
• Preferably from mining or related industry.
• With valid Professional Driver’s License
• PRC License (Board/Bar/Professional License)

Responsibilities

• Identify shutdown-related work-scope and conduct a review to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Ensure detailed work order planning, including task breakdown and resource allocation.
• Generate and manage the sequence of shutdown schedules, encompassing engineering and shutdown planning.
• Lead meetings to review and refine schedule within budget, making critical decisions.
• Coordinate with shutdown team on materials and logistics; monitor timelines and adjust for success.
• Develop detailed project scope, ensuring activities are accurately scoped and planned.
• Participate in team activities, share information, and seek input from others.
• Adjust to changing team dynamics and responsibilities.
