Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking an Assoc. Manager, Scheduling to lead a team of Specialists and Recruiters responsible for short- and long-term workforce scheduling for shipboard operations.

The role reports to the Manager, Shipboard HR Strategy & Services and collaborates with Fleet Operations Management to meet fleet workforce needs. The ideal candidate will oversee adherence to Par Levels and scheduling processes, coordinate with Global Hiring Partners, and ensure timely placement of

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce scheduling, planning, recruiting, and shipboard crew administration.
• Knowledge of automated human resources systems preferred.
• Good communication skills; reads, writes and speaks English.
• Must be able to travel internationally and domestically.
• Second language ability (Spanish, French, German, or Italian) preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and common Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Leads the team to ensure timely and accurate scheduling on ships.
• Supervises compliance with Par Levels, Step-Up, Team rotations, and other initiatives.
• Collaborates with Global Hiring Partners to recruit and confirm joining crew to meet standards.
• Ensures processes to place candidates on ships and maintains a ready pool of qualified candidates.
• Manages invoicing and payments related to hires within 30 days of receipt.
• Works with client managers to determine scheduling and planning concerns.
• Provides on-the-job training to improve performance and development.
