Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Production/Process Engineer to oversee daily production operations, monitor schedules, and coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, and QA to ensure uninterrupted output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering; 1–2 years in production, manufacturing, or process engineering preferred; fresh grads considered with strong academics.
• Knowledge of production planning, process improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and productivity analysis.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Occupational Safety standards is an advantage; proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations to meet production schedules and efficiency targets.
• Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and performance; propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, and QA to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Assist in production planning, line balancing, capacity utilization, and new product trials; support process improvements and equipment commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with production specs, quality standards, and operating procedures.
• Prepare and analyze production reports, efficiency reports, downtime analysis, and productivity metrics.
• Maintain production records, process documentation, work instructions, and engineering data.
• Monitor production KPIs and propose continuous improvement; participate in production meetings and implement operational projects.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, Food Safety, and OSH requirements; assist during audits and ensure corrective actions.
