Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is hiring a Shift Engineer to support daily manufacturing operations, monitor production performance, and help improve productivity, efficiency, and process compliance in a cooking oil facility.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field, 1–2 years of production experience, knowledge of lean manufacturing and GMP/HACCP standards, and strong analytical and Excel skills to analyze efficiency and drive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering field.
1–2 years of production, manufacturing, or process engineering experience preferred; fresh graduates considered with strong academics.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily production operations to meet schedules and efficiency targets.
Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and performance; recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to ensure uninterrupted production.
Assist in production planning, manpower allocation, line balancing, and capacity utilization.
Support new product trials, process improvements, and equipment commissioning.
Ensure compliance with production specifications, quality standards, and SOPs.
Prepare and analyze production reports and downtime analysis.
Maintain production records and engineering data.
Monitor production KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.
Participate in production meetings and implement operational improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and OSH requirements.
