Job summary

ABeam Consulting Vietnam seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design and maintain end-to-end workflows on the ServiceNow platform, implementing Business Rules, Scripts, UI Actions, ACLs, and Notifications for scalable solutions.

You will build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub, troubleshoot issues, and ensure deployment readiness with thorough documentation. Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants and Project Managers in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Flow Designer and/or Workflow Studio.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture.
• Experience developing and configuring: Business Rules; Client Scripts; Script Includes; UI Policies; UI Actions; ACLs; Notifications.
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs and integrations, particularly REST and/or SOAP.
• Experience with IntegrationHub is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables, forms, roles, groups, and security.
• Experience with ServiceNow development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a consulting/project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain end-to-end workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
• Build and optimize workflows using Flow Designer and Flow Designer.
• Configure flows, subflows, actions, approvals, tasks, notifications, conditions, and business logic.
• Develop reusable workflow components to support scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and optimize existing processes for performance and reliability.
• Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications based on functional and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain: Business Rules; Client Scripts; UI Actions; Script Includes; Notifications; ACLs; Scheduled Jobs.
• Develop custom applications and functionality using the ServiceNow platform.
• Work with tables, forms, fields, roles, groups, and other ServiceNow platform components.
• Perform technical analysis and recommend appropriate platform solutions.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants and Solution Architects to understand business requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
• Provide technical recommendations on workflow automation and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential performance issues.
• Review existing implementations and propose improvements or refactoring where necessary.
• Develop unit test cases and perform technical testing of workflows and ServiceNow configurations.
• Support SIT and UAT; investigate and resolve defects; manage deployment updates.

Key Responsibilities

1. ServiceNow Workflow Development

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain end-to-end workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
• Build and optimize workflows using ServiceNow Workflow Studio and Flow Designer.

3. Integration & Automation

• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
• Configure and develop IntegrationHub spokes, actions, and integration flows where applicable.
• Support data exchange and synchronization between ServiceNow and external applications.
• Troubleshoot integration and workflow-related issues.
• Automate repetitive business processes using ServiceNow capabilities.

4. Technical Solution Design

• Collaborate with Functional Consultants and Solution Architects to understand business requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
• Provide technical recommendations on workflow automation and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential performance issues.
• Review existing implementations and propose improvements or refactoring where necessary.

5. Testing & Deployment

• Develop unit test cases and perform technical testing of workflows and ServiceNow configurations.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Investigate and resolve defects identified during testing and after deployment.
• Prepare and manage update sets or other appropriate deployment mechanisms.
• Support release, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Ensure proper technical documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with clients, Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and other technical team members.
• Participate in technical workshops and solution discussions.
• Explain technical solutions and workflow behavior to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and recommendations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Contribute to ServiceNow implementation methodologies, development standards, and best practices.

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
