Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow applications and workflows. You will work on ITSM processes, CMDB data, and platform enhancements, collaborating with international teams and business stakeholders.

You will configure Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes, and drive automation via Flow Designer and IntegrationHub. Experience in REST/SOAP APIs and end-to-end deployments (DEV/QA/PROD) is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 5–7 years hands-on ServiceNow development, configuration, administration and support.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes.

Join our Global IT team as a ServiceNow Developer and help design, develop, and optimize solutions that support business and IT operations across a global environment. You'll work hands-on with ServiceNow development, ITSM, workflow automation, integrations, and platform enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience. Working with international IT teams and business stakeholders, you'll solve complex technical challenges and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Your Role:

• Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and platform solutions based on business and IT requirements.
• Configure and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and other ServiceNow components.
• Develop workflow automation using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, and related ServiceNow capabilities.
• Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools.
• Manage and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related platform data.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with global IT teams, business stakeholders, and end users to deliver solutions and continuous improvements.
• Support deployments across DEV, QA, and PROD environments while following development and change management practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery through automation, technology, and development best practices.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, administration, and support.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, and workflow automation.
• Good understanding of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and ServiceNow integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ITOM Discovery, CMDB/CSDM, SAM Pro, HAM, SPM, Platform Analytics, ServiceNow security, or upgrade-safe development is an advantage.
• ServiceNow certifications, experience managing DEV/QA/PROD deployments, or experience working in international/distributed IT environments is a plus.
