Job summary

SHANGRI-LA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES INC. is seeking a Service Associate - Procurement (Non-Food Buyer) to support procurement activities across Shangri-La properties in the Philippines.

You will interact with fixed assets, stewards, and department heads to source, evaluate, and manage non-food supplier relationships. The role requires 1 year of procurement experience, familiarity with procurement systems (SAP/SCM), and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of procurement or sourcing experience.
• Experience with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering projects).
• Knowledge of procurement systems (SAP, SCM).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Fluent in English and local language.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with fixed assets and department heads on operating equipment and collateral needs.
• Source new suppliers for operating equipment and other non-food items.
• Engage with equipment and other non-F&B suppliers.
• Assist in inventory consolidation as needed.
• Negotiate prices to achieve cost savings.
• Track shipments and import documents.
• Assist CER requests as assigned.

We are hiring for a Service Associate - Procurement (Non-Food Buyer).

As a Service Associate - Procurement (Non-Food Buyer), we rely you to:

• Interactwith fixed assets/property controller, chief stewards and other department heads related to operating equipments and collaterals for Shangri-La properties


• Outsource new suppliers for operating equipmentsupplies and other non-F&B supplier


• Interact closely with operating equipment and other non-F&B suppliers


• Assistto consolidate inventory items if needed


• Negotiate prices accordingly to generate savings


• Facilitate and monitor shipment delivery dates and other importation documents


• Involve in facilitating CER requests depending on the assigned CER

We are looking for someone who:

• Preferably with atleast 1 year work experience in Procurement/Sourcing from any business industry


• Has experience in dealing with cross functional teams (i.e. Engineering project involvement)


• Is knowledgeable in any Procurement System (i.e. SCM, SAP, etc.)


• Is proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)


• Has good communication and people management skills


• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)


• Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task


• Able to communicate priorities and drives business results
