About the role

Excello Restaurant Management Group is seeking a dedicated and personable Server to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well‑cared‑for throughout their visit. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining moments that keep guests returning.

What you\'ll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them at appropriately assigned tables

• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our food and beverage offerings

• Taking accurate food and drink orders whilst answering any questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods

• Communicating orders clearly to the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery

• Serving food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring correct placement and presentation standards

• Checking on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly

• Processing payments and managing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your assigned tables and service stations throughout your shift

• Following all health, safety and hygiene regulations to ensure guest and staff wellbeing

• Collaborating with kitchen, bar and housekeeping staff to deliver seamless service

• Assisting with basic food preparation, such as plating accompaniments or preparing beverages, as required

• Restocking supplies and maintaining service areas in readiness for service periods

What we\'re looking for

• Previous experience as a Server or in a similar front-of-house hospitality role, ideally within a full-service restaurant environment and wine knowledge

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests from all backgrounds

• Excellent customer service orientation with a genuine desire to create positive dining experiences

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including proper serving techniques and etiquette

• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic numeracy skills for accurate order and payment processing

• Physical stamina and the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, carrying trays and reaching safely

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

• A professional appearance and neat grooming standards in compliance with restaurant dress code

• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and team mentality

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures, menus and technologies

• Basic knowledge of local cuisine and dining customs is advantageous
