This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to manage a dynamic hospitality establishment and drive excellence across all operational areas. As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, overseeing staff, finances, customer experience, and strategic initiatives. This role is pivotal to maintaining our reputation for outstanding service and maintaining profitability in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and local legislation

• Experience in a fine dining restaurant or steakhouse is an advantage

• Lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of restaurant and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability

• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximise profitability, control costs, and improve efficiency

• Manage budgets, financial planning, and performance metrics to ensure the restaurant meets revenue and profit targets

• Maintain exceptional standards of customer service by monitoring guest experiences and addressing feedback promptly

• Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring continuous improvement in service quality and team performance

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local stakeholders

• Create and execute marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement and increase footfall

• Monitor inventory, food costs, and waste management to optimise profitability

• Ensure food safety standards and hygiene protocols are consistently maintained across the establishment

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges

• Knowledge of restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology

• Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

• Filipino fluency required; English proficiency highly advantageous
