Job summary

Asiatel Outsourcing in the Philippines seeks a Senior Voice Engineer to manage SBC/VoIP infrastructure, ensuring secure, stable and high-quality voice traffic across global interconnections.

The role requires hands-on SIP/RTP, NOC operations experience, and the ability to troubleshoot live networks. Based onsite at Ortigas Center, Pasig City, the position offers growth into senior technical or NOC leadership as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with VoIP and SBC technologies including SIP/RTP.
• Background in NOC operations within telecom/VoIP/wholesale carrier environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex voice and signaling issues in live networks.
• Experience with FreeSWITCH or Asterisk and familiarity with ASTPP is a plus.
• Solid English communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot SBC and VoIP infrastructure for quality traffic.
• Monitor call routing, traffic, and network health across softswitch platforms.
• Update routing to optimize quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Test and maintain carrier interconnections with partners.
• Perform QA for new routes and carriers before production release.
• Handle tickets and SLAs; resolve issues promptly.
• Investigate call quality issues, routing failures, and traffic anomalies.
• Collaborate with Account Management and Operations on escalations.
• Coordinate with NOC teams to keep regional service quality consistent.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities for network optimization.
