Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a VoIP Engineer in the Philippines. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining VoIP and unified communications systems, ensuring reliable voice services and smooth integration with CRM and helpdesk tools.

You will configure SIP and PBX systems, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues like latency and jitter, while collaborating with network and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless communications across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in VoIP, telecommunications, or network engineering roles.
Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323) and PBX systems (Asterisk, Cisco, Avaya).
Experience troubleshooting VoIP and network-related issues.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, QoS, VLANs, routing, and switching).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain VoIP and unified communications systems.
Configure and support SIP, PBX, and call routing systems to ensure reliable voice services.
Monitor VoIP performance, troubleshoot call quality issues (latency, jitter, packet loss), and optimize network performance.
Integrate VoIP systems with other platforms such as CRM, helpdesk, or collaboration tools.
Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless communication services.
