Job summary

EY in the Philippines seeks an experienced Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer to design, deploy, support and optimize enterprise voice services across global locations. You will own SBC platforms, SIP trunking, and Direct Routing while coordinating with carriers, vendors and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and service ownership with a focus on reliability, security and excellent user experience.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in unified communications or voice engineering.
• Eight or more years with Microsoft Teams Voice or Direct Routing.
• Experience managing enterprise SBCs and SIP carrier connectivity.
• Experience supporting production voice services and resolving complex incidents.
• Experience working with global stakeholders, telecom carriers and vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Microsoft Teams External Calling and Teams Phone solutions.
• Configure and manage voice routing policies, dial plans, calling policies and emergency calling policies.
• Enable and troubleshoot PSTN connectivity through Direct Routing.
• Support migration from traditional PBX to Teams telephony.
• Configure and support Auto Attendants, Call Queues and user voice enablement.
• Deploy, administer and maintain SBC infrastructure.
• Configure SIP trunks, routing rules and interoperability between Teams, carriers, and platforms.
• Troubleshoot SIP signalling and media issues with traces and logs.
• Perform SBC software upgrades, patching and certificate management.
• Maintain secure and highly available SBC configurations.
