Job summary

Empower LLC in Manila is seeking a Third-Party Payments Specialist to understand, set up, and execute payment structures for retirement services. You will review contracts, fee schedules, and payment requests, and perform quality checks on one-time and recurring payments.

The role requires 3+ years in mutual fund operations or related fields, FINRA fingerprinting, and strong Excel skills. This is an onsite position with a focus on accuracy and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of mutual fund operations, broker-back office, or accounting work.
• FINRA fingerprinting required; no EFSI registrations needed.
• Ability to interpret contracts, fee schedules and payment instructions for accurate processing.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, fee schedules, and directives to validate third-party payment setup.
• Set up one-time and recurring payments and perform QC in the Empower system.
• Resolve discrepancies and nonstandard requests before processing.
• Coordinate fee setups and plan expense reallocations with internal teams.
• Respond to inquiries from internal partners and external customers in writing and verbally.
• Use Excel to calculate payments and perform high-volume reviews; assist with regulatory reporting.
