Job summary

Empower is seeking an Implementation Consultant to lead the successful installation of new retirement plan sales and act as the project manager for conversions.

You will coordinate with plan sponsors, financial advisors, and third-party administrators, manage timelines, and ensure compliance and accuracy throughout the transition process. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with willingness to work overnight hours. This role is based in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years implementation or related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be available to work overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact to manage installation of standard/non-complex new transfer or start-up retirement plan sales.
• Lead weekly conference calls with plan sponsors, financial advisors, third-party administrators, and internal teams on timing and tasks.
• Discuss service agreements and product features with plan sponsors and advisors for comprehension of duties.
• Review plan provisions with plans electing internal compliance services to ensure accurate restatement of retirement plan documents.
• Coordinate payroll file/methods mapping with the plan sponsor to Empower.
• Facilitate the transfer of plan assets and records through written and verbal communication with prior providers and internal teams.
• Maintain deadlines and timelines for transfer and start-up plan activity.
• Produce quality work on assigned sales through QA measures.
• Follow established procedures to minimize market risks and gain/loss situations.
• Transition plans from blackout release to the ongoing Client Service Manager.
• Work extended hours during peak seasons or high volume.
