Job summary

Reed Elsevier Philippines is seeking a Systems Engineer III to join our EUC Enterprise Engineering team. You will deliver first-class IT services, support enterprise tech deployments, upgrades, and daily administration across the organization.

The role involves escalations, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with engineering leads to drive infrastructure projects. Occasional travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Excellent understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Active Directory, and other authentication services.
• Hands-on experience with DNS and DHCP, and solid working knowledge of SCOM for infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
• Strong grasp of Windows Server environments; experience with Mac and Linux enterprise systems is a plus.
• Proven ability to identify automation opportunities, streamline processes, and reduce manual workload.
• A self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist Enterprise Engineering Leads with execution and delivery of the EUC roadmap.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and provide 3rd line support to internal squads.
• Share knowledge and foster team development by hosting lunch-and-learn sessions and mentoring peers.
• Deliver business-critical support to internal customers, ensuring SLA adherence and high service quality.
• Collaborate with squad leads to deliver infrastructure projects.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and support OCC/NOC escalations.
• Provide updates to senior stakeholders on technical initiatives.
• Occasional travel and off-hours work may be required.
