Job summary
Solaire Resort is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage and optimize Windows and Linux server environments critical to our operations. You will administer servers, monitor performance, and ensure high availability across a 24/7 infrastructure.
You will collaborate with Network and Infrastructure teams, handle patching, backups, incident resolution, and participate in IT projects involving server and platform technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing Windows and Linux servers in a 24/7 environment.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux server administration and related Microsoft technologies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor high-availability server environments.
- Install, configure, and administer Windows and Linux servers.
- Perform capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Monitor system logs and conduct root cause analysis.
- Manage server patching, backups, and recovery strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues within SLA targets.
- Support testing environments and production systems.
- Collaborate with Network and Infrastructure teams on security initiatives and system improvements.
- Provide backup support for infrastructure monitoring operations.
