Job summary

Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Operator to ensure the availability and performance of enterprise systems, including data center applications, infrastructure and networks. You will monitor systems, detect issues, and escalate to maintain uninterrupted operations.

The role collaborates with IT Operations, Server Infrastructure and Application Support teams, supports procedural compliance, and leads during major incidents or incidents escalation, ensuring SLAs are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Systems Operator or similar in a multi-system environment.
• Proficient with UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (SCOM/PRTG/SolarWinds/Dynatrace) and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise applications, servers, infrastructure, and network systems.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and escalate system alerts and processing errors.
• Resolve hardware and software issues in line with SLAs.
• Lead major infrastructure incidents and coordinate responses.
• Monitor and perform file transfer operations.
• Maintain incident records, exceptions, and service disruptions.
• Coordinate with vendors during equipment or circuit failures.
• Review open tickets and escalate until resolution.
• Prepare shift reports and ensure proper handovers.
• Manage the System Operator ticket queue.
• Generate incident reports for major infrastructure events.
• Act as Assistant Team Leader in absence of IT Operations Management.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Systems Operator is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and compliance of Solaire's enterprise systems by monitoring data center applications, infrastructure, and network environments. The role involves proactively detecting, troubleshooting, and escalating system alerts to maintain uninterrupted operations.

The position also manages and leads major infrastructure-related incidents, works closely with IT Operations Management, Server Infrastructure Teams, and Application Support Teams, and supports the continuous improvement of operational procedures and policies.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• At least 2 years of experience as a Systems Operator in a multi-system computer environment.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience in enterprise monitoring tools such as SCOM, PRTG, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, and similar platforms.
• Experience in system monitoring, incident management, and data center operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
