Job summary

Solaire Resort is seeking a Senior Systems Operator to ensure availability, performance, and compliance of enterprise systems by monitoring data center applications, infrastructure, and networks. You will proactively detect, troubleshoot, and escalate system alerts to sustain uninterrupted operations.

You will lead major infrastructure incidents, work with IT Operations Management, Server Infrastructure, and Application Support teams, and help improve operational procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Systems Operator in a multi-system environment.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience using enterprise monitoring tools such as SCOM, PRTG, SolarWinds, and Dynatrace.
• Experience in system monitoring, incident management, and data center operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/IS or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise applications, servers, infrastructure, and network systems.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and escalate system alerts and processing errors.
• Resolve hardware and software issues in accordance with SLAs.
• Manage and lead major infrastructure incidents.
• Monitor and perform file transfer operations.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and service disruptions.
• Coordinate with vendors during equipment or circuit failures.
• Review open tickets and follow up with escalation groups until resolution.
• Prepare shift reports and conduct proper handovers between shifts.
• Manage the System Operator ticket queue.
• Generate and manage incident reports for major infrastructure incidents.
• Act as Assistant Team Leader in the absence of IT Operations Management.
• Maintain operational documentation, logs, and compliance.
