Job summary

Join BairesDev as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. This 100% remote role offers the chance to work with a global Top 1% engineering team, ensuring high availability and performance of production systems. You will bridge software development and operations, building scalable, resilient infrastructure.

Responsibilities include designing Kubernetes‑based systems, defining SLOs/SLIs, incident response, and building observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog. Excellent English required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in managing and scaling production‑grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and scripting using Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Demonstrated ability in incident response management and the definition of SLOs/SLIs.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain highly available Kubernetes‑based infrastructure across diverse environments.
• Define and manage reliability metrics, including SLOs and SLIs, to guide data‑driven decisions.
• Lead the response to production incidents and conduct post‑mortems to prevent recurrence.
• Design and implement comprehensive observability frameworks for deep visibility into system health.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning to reduce toil.
• Foster a culture of reliability by collaborating on architectural reviews and readiness standards.
