BairesDev is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps / SRE) to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for a global, 100% remote team. You will drive automation, improve reliability, and own cloud and bare-metal provisioning across environments.

The role requires strong experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, AWS, and Linux provisioning, plus advanced English skills. This position offers a flexible, globally distributed work culture.

Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps / SRE) at BairesDev

In this role, you'll work across infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux provisioning at a deep technical level, including bare-metal imaging and low-level network boot processes. This is your opportunity to build and maintain the platform foundations that engineering teams depend on, combining cloud infrastructure expertise with hands-on systems engineering in a high-ownership environment.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation workflows.
• Manage cloud and bare-metal infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Automate infrastructure at scale using industry-standard tools.
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security across environments.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Buildkite.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, shell scripting, and AWS.
• Experience with Linux provisioning, including PXE, DHCP, TFTP, Kickstart, cloud-init, MAAS, iPXE, and bare-metal imaging.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
