Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead reliability for our production systems. You will bridge development and operations to build scalable, stable infrastructure across environments.

You will design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, define SLOs/SLIs, respond to incidents, implement observability, automate tasks, and collaborate across teams in a 100% remote role, with compensation in USD or local currency. Strong English required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
Production-grade Kubernetes clusters: design, scale and manage.
Strong Linux administration and scripting (Python/Go).
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
Proven incident response and post-mortem practices.
Professional English communication ability.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain highly available Kubernetes-based infrastructure across environments.
Define and manage SLOs/SLIs to drive data-driven decisions.
Lead incident response and post-mortems to improve resilience.
Design observability frameworks for deep system visibility.
Automate tasks and provisioning to reduce toil and ensure reproducibility.
Collaborate with engineering on reliability and production readiness.
