Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (GCP) to ensure the stability and performance of our cloud infrastructure. You will bridge development and operations, focusing on reliability of Google Cloud environments and containerized workloads.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in SRE/DevOps, hands-on GCP/GKE experience, Terraform and Stackdriver proficiency, and strong English skills. This is a 100% remote opportunity with competitive USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
Proven expertise in managing and scaling infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google-native services.
Proficiency in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and automation.
Strong background in observability and monitoring using Stackdriver.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using GKE and Compute Engine.
Automate cloud resource provisioning and environment consistency through Terraform.
Streamline deployment processes by building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build.
Develop comprehensive monitoring strategies using Stackdriver to maintain system health and visibility.
Implement security best practices across VPCs and IAM to protect cloud-native applications.
Partner with engineering teams to improve service uptime and reduce operational toil through automation.
