BairesDev is recruiting an Observability Engineer to design and operate enterprise-wide observability platforms. You will implement metrics, traces, and logs tooling across distributed systems, collaborating with engineering teams to define SLOs/SLIs and alerting strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in Infra/SRE/Observability.
• Experience designing and operating observability infrastructure for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Hands-on OpenTelemetry tracing implementation.
• Experience optimizing Datadog for enterprise observability.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage observability platforms using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Standardize telemetry data collection with OpenTelemetry.
• Implement full-stack monitoring, APM, and log management with Datadog.
• Collaborate to define meaningful SLOs, SLIs, and alerting strategies.
• Build scalable infra for long-term metrics storage and real-time dashboards.
• Drive adoption of observability best practices to improve incident detection and resolution.
