Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust LAN/WAN and cloud networks. You will lead network projects, enforce security policies, and collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and development teams to ensure reliable, scalable connectivity across properties.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, performing health checks, and documenting configurations and changes to support ongoing operations and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required and relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in network administration with hands-on design and management.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and vendor technologies across LAN/WAN environments.
• Experience leading teams and collaborating with security, systems, and development teams.

• Network Design & Implementation: Develop and implement network designs, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud-based networks, to support organizational needs.
• Network Management: Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, conduct regular health checks, and implement improvements to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Security Management: Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures, including intrusion detection, prevention systems, and secure network access controls.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced technical support for network issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex network problems efficiently.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and changes; prepare and present reports on network performance, issues, and improvements.
• Project Leadership: Lead network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.

II. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in network administration, with a strong background in network design, implementation, and management.
