Job summary

Concentrix is seeking a Lead Network Engineer with 10–12 years of enterprise networking experience. You will design, implement, and optimize global network infrastructure across private and public cloud environments, while mentoring a team of engineers and collaborating with cross‑functional groups to align with security and business goals.

You will manage toolsets like WireShark and SolarWinds, work with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), and ensure robust VPN and firewall configurations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a network administrator with senior network engineer background.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Architect, Security, Genesys, Avaya.
• Experience with VoIP and SBC technologies.
• Expertise in firewalls, Internet VPNs, remote implementation and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of OSI model and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Familiarity with access control models and network security.
• Scripting skills for automation (CLI, Python, Perl).
• Experience with SolarWinds and WireShark.
• Proficiency with network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
• Team management and mentoring experience.
• BSc/BA in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Install/maintain antivirus and IDS.
• Proficient in MS Visio/Office for technical docs.
• Experience documenting to guide others.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement functional network infrastructure in private and public clouds (LAN/WLAN/WAN, AWS, Voice).
• Mentor team members and address user needs.
• Configure and install software on routers, switches, load balancers, and other devices.
• Monitor network performance and propose improvements.
• Oversee security measures including access authentication and disaster recovery.
• Maintain complete technical documentation in OneNote.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing on architectural design strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues across cloud and on-premises.

Reporting to the Director, on our Global team, the Lead Network Engineer will have 10-12 years of experience in enterprise-level networking, with a knowledge of both Private and Public Cloud interconnect via MPLS, Internet, VPN Tunnel and other networking technologies. Will work within a team of network engineers. Will also collaborate with other teams to design IVR and Telecom solutions and troubleshoot complex routing issues.

• Design and implement functional network infrastructure in both private and public cloud. (LAN, WLAN, WAN, AWS, and Voice networks)
• Expert with standard network tools such as WireShark, SolarWinds, etc.
• Resolve standard and escalated SolvNow network tickets
• Mentor other team members and address user needs
• Knowledge of network administration and architecture and experience troubleshooting
• Passionate about security and data protection.
• Configure and install software on routers, switches, load balancers, and other network devices.
• Monitor network performance and integrity and present suggestions for improvement.
• Resolve issues by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
• Work with hardware/software and multiple cloud vendors to implement/maintain networking solutions.
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
• Oversee security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery)
• Communicate with users to resolve networking/connectivity issues.
• Maintain complete technical documentation in our Microsoft OneNote repository.
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
• Assist Sales/Marketing with Architectural design strategies
• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided
• Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with direct manager and/or direct reports

You Have

• Experience in a network administrator role with Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer.
• Several of the following Professional certifications: CCNP, CCDP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Architect, Security, Genesys, Avaya, Nice
• Experience with VoIP and session border control (SBC) technologies.
• Expert with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (OSI Model) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• Familiarity with access control models and network security
• Knowledge of coding languages for scripting automation tasks (e.g CLI, Python, Perl, and others)
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds, WireShark tools)
• Expert with network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
• Troubleshoot on live devices with packet sniffing tools
• Experience managing a team and mentoring junior members.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equival
• Install and maintain AntiVirus and Intrusion Detection software (IDS)
• Efficient at use of Microsoft VISIO/Office as technical documentation and presentation tools.
• Experience documenting to work for others to follow.
