Job summary

gss hr solutions private limted is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Engineer in Makati. The role is permanent with a hybrid work pattern requiring 2 days per week in the office.

You will ensure platform stability, perform maintenance, manage upgrades, and oversee security across the ServiceNow environment. Responsibilities include incident handling, integration work with Entra ID and other systems, and collaboration with developers to optimize performance and security.

Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
• Administering and maintaining ServiceNow instances, upgrades, and performance monitoring.
• Hands-on SSO implementation using SAML and OpenID Connect.
• Integrating ServiceNow with Entra ID, endpoint management and observability tools.
• Performance tuning to optimize ServiceNow databases and instances.
• Experience with Java or similar OO language.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OO design, and design patterns.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Strong problem solving and independent work ability.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and team members.

As a ServiceNow Platform Engineer, you will:

• Ensure platform stability and usability across both production and non-production environments.
• Conduct application maintenance, including performance tuning, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Oversee incident support and troubleshooting related to the platform.
• Lead planning and execution of platform upgrades.
• Manage instance security, including user/group access, administrative controls, and access control lists.
• Provide configuration guidance and support to developers.
• Maintain a secure and hardened platform environment.
• Establish and enforce security standards across the platform.
• Validate technical design and integration requirements to support data exchange between systems.
• Maintain integrations between ServiceNow and internal applications or systems.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new capabilities and business processes, with a proactive approach to leading and driving new initiatives.

• Hands-on expertise in implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Skilled in integrating ServiceNow with external systems such as Entra ID, endpoint management, security platforms, and observability tools.
• Proficient in optimizing ServiceNow instance and database performance through advanced tuning techniques.
• Experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Analytical and design skills to solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITIL processes and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
