Job summary

ATOS Information Technology Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Platform Engineer - ServiceNow to design, develop and maintain our ServiceNow platform infrastructure in a global, enterprise environment.

The role focuses on high availability, performance, security, and continuous improvement across regions, with mentorship of junior engineers and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering or similar roles
• Extensive ServiceNow administration experience
• Knowledge of ITSM, IT operations, and IT service delivery
• Scripting in JavaScript, Python, or Groovy for automation
• Cloud and virtualization experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow CIS or CIS Admin is advantageous

Responsibilities

About the role

ATOS Information Technology Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer - ServiceNow for a global role based in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will see you take on a strategic role within our engineering team, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform infrastructure. As Platform Engineer - ServiceNow, you will be instrumental in ensuring our platform operates at peak performance, scales effectively, and supports the organisation's digital transformation initiatives across multiple regions and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow platform solutions that support organisational business requirements and strategic objectives
• Manage and optimise the ServiceNow platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across global deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement scalable solutions
• Perform platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities whilst minimising downtime and business impact
• Monitor platform health, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance enhancements and optimisation strategies
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for platform operations
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and support team members
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and implement root cause solutions
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements across all platform deployments
• Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure forecasting to support business growth

About you

• 5+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, systems administration, or related roles within enterprise environments
• Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and customisation
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, IT operations, and IT service delivery modules
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Groovy for platform automation and integration
• Solid understanding of database management, API development, and system integration principles
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualisation technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop pragmatic solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams
• Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, or equivalent qualifications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code principles is advantageous
