Job summary

Sulzer in Makati, Philippines, seeks a Lead Sales Engineering Specialist to guide the sales team with technical input and ensure customer needs are met. The role also feeds product development feedback and supports customer onboarding.

The candidate will plan customer visits, prepare inquiries, and maintain long-term relationships while acting as the primary contact for all product lines. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or engineering services.
• Strong networking in energy, manufacturing, oil & gas, power plant industries, or general industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake regular customer visits to maximise enquiry generation and drive order intake.
• Prepare, submit and follow up all enquiries professionally.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
• Act as the primary contact for all product lines.
• Evaluate market environment in terms of products, pricing, distribution network, and develop new strategies in target markets.
• Contribute to RFC for Order Intake for customers/territory.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure service projects meet Sulzer’s quality standards.
