Job summary

Design Science is seeking a Senior Construction Estimator with advanced CostX skills to price residential projects using Revit/BIM inputs. You will produce detailed BOQs, manage rate libraries, and compare tender offers while working remotely, aligned to Queensland business hours.

Ideal candidates have extensive estimating experience, preferably in Australian residential projects, and can operate autonomously as a contractor on a fixed monthly rate.

Qualifications

• Advanced CostX user with workbook and rate-buildups.
• Strong experience in 2D/3D/BIM takeoffs and BOQ production.
• Proven ability to build, maintain and apply rate libraries.

Responsibilities

• Perform full takeoffs and BOQs in CostX from Revit models and drawings.
• Provide trade-package breakdowns for subcontractor pricing.
• Support tender submissions and client cost reporting.
• Develop stage cost plans during design development and refine rate libraries.
