Job summary

D2B is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator/Quantity Surveyor for a fully remote role. You will lead the estimating team, oversee cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and cost breakdowns for residential and commercial projects, and mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in estimation/quantity surveying, leadership experience, and a portfolio showcasing Australian/New Zealand project work. You will collaborate with managers and clients to ensure pricing accuracy and strong cost

Qualifications

5+ years of proven experience as Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in construction.
At least 5 years in a leadership role managing or mentoring a team.
Experience on Australian/New Zealand construction projects is mandatory.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
Ability to read and interpret Australian/New Zealand drawings/specs.
Portfolio demonstrating estimating and project experience is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of estimators/quantity surveyors.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and cost breakdowns.
Review and validate estimates prepared by junior team members.
Support tendering and bidding processes.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure pricing accuracy.
Implement processes to improve estimating efficiency and cost control.
