Job summary

Design Science is seeking an experienced construction estimator. You will work remotely, aligning to Queensland hours, and produce detailed BOQs from Revit/BIM data using CostX.

This is a long-term full-time contractor role with a focus on residential renovation and new builds on the Gold Coast. Ideal candidates have deep CostX capability, strong rate-building skills from first principles, and clear written English for collaboration with a Queensland principal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' construction estimating experience.
• Australian residential projects experience is a genuine plus.
• Deep CostX capability including rate buildups and takeoffs.
• Strong written English communication with a Australian principal.

Responsibilities

• Produce full takeoffs and BOQs from Revit models and documentation.
• Maintain and refine rate libraries with live project costs.
• Support tender submissions and client cost reporting.
• Collaborate with principal to ensure accurate, orderable BOQs.
