Job summary

Outsourcedstaff is seeking a senior Estimator to run the day-to-day estimating and quoting workflow for Australian projects from a remote setup. You will review enquiries, check plans, perform takeoffs, source supplier pricing, and build accurate quotes using templates and rates.

Qualifications

Clear written and spoken English with excellent communication.
Engineering background with civil road exposure.
5+ years as Estimator at senior level.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Takeoff and Excel for takeoffs and quotes.
Able to work independently and keep the client happy.
Available full-time aligned to Australian business hours.

Responsibilities

Review enquiries, check plans against schedule and quote accurately.
Perform takeoffs from civil/road drawings using Adobe for markup and measurement.
Record quantities in Excel and build quotes using templates and rates.
Source and compare supplier pricing; compute margins before submission to management.
Communicate with management and suppliers; escalate genuine exceptions.
Maintain client satisfaction with timely, accurate quotes.
