Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Recoveries Manager to lead the Recoveries Assistants and ensure targets are met across agencies. The role involves analytics on strategies, monitoring flow rates, and overseeing compliance of outside agencies in the Manila-Luzon region.

The position requires driving reduced delinquencies, end-to-end ownership of seriously delinquent accounts, and coordination with collection agencies to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder.
• At least 3 years of collections experience in recoveries from credit card, bank, or collection agencies.
• At least 2 years of people management experience in collections recoveries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of collection system and policies/procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Recoveries policies are in place and oversee implementation and monitoring of results.
• Review agency performance and prepare business reviews.
• Own seriously delinquent accounts from endorsement to agencies and monitor performance.
• Supervise Recoveries Assistants to meet agency targets and ensure proper handling of litigated accounts, with regular reporting.
• Assist in maximizing Recoveries team effectiveness through coaching and direction.
• Create analytics on strategic and operational initiatives, monitor program reviews and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance of Visayas-Mindanao agency sites via regular visitation and monitoring.
• Manage monthly/quarterly activities of collection agencies.
• Assist customers in arranging payments with minimal default risk.
• Implement litigation when appropriate to maximize collection effects.
• Uphold service standards in all cardholder interactions and process waivers/reversals promptly.
