Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a Senior Finance Controller with a CPA and a Bachelor's in Accountancy to lead real estate accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for development, leasing, and property management; lead budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support investment decisions; ensure tax filings and regulatory compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, PEZA where applicable.

Qualifications

• CPA and Bachelor's degree in Accountancy are required.
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in real estate.
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process for real estate development projects, leasing operations, and property management activities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for real estate projects and operating properties, providing insights to support investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, PEZA (if applicable), and other real estate regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial controls over procurement, project expenditures, and payment processes.
• Oversee accounting for tenant billing, lease administration, security deposits, rental collections, and CAM charges.
• Develop and implement accounts receivable and collection strategies to improve rental collections and cash flow across managed properties.
