Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a Senior Accounting Officer to oversee financial operations, maintain records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support tax compliance.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting, while assisting budgeting and cash flow projections.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in QuickBooks or similar software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting procedures.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank transactions, and cash management.
• Review and verify the accuracy of accounting entries, supporting documents, and financial records.
• Ensure proper recording and monitoring of project billings, collections, retention receivables, advances, and subcontractor payments.

• Prepare and review tax filings, including VAT, withholding taxes, income taxes, and other statutory requirements.
• Ensure timely remittance and compliance with BIR, SEC, and other government regulatory requirements.
