Job summary

RM101 Square in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for property portfolios, ensure regulatory compliance with BIR and related filings, and maintain audit-ready records.

You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, develop budgets and forecasts, perform cost analysis, and collaborate with operations and management to improve financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3–5 years of accounting, reporting, budgeting and compliance experience.
• Hands-on with government regulatory compliance including property taxes and permits.
• Strong financial analysis, cost analysis, trend identification, and forecasting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.
• High integrity and ownership of financial responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present data clearly to management.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for property portfolios including revenue recognition, expenses, and GL maintenance.
• Ensure technical compliance with BIR and other regulations, including VAT and EWT filings.
• Maintain audit-ready financial records with property assets, permits, and leases.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop executive reports on budgets, expenses, and property performance.
• Conduct financial analysis and variance explanations; provide recommendations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for all portfolios.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with property management and operations to align financial activities.
• Mentor junior finance staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
