Job summary

King Properties in Cebu City, Philippines seeks an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial accounting, GL, month-end close and internal controls. You will supervise external compliance activities with BIR, SEC, SSS, HDMF and PHIC, coordinate cash management, and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• College graduate preferably Accountancy or Management Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in managerial role.
• Licensed CPA is an advantage.
• Real estate experience is a plus.
• Superior problem solving and root cause analysis abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide actionable feedback.

Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting
• Direct Supervision of External Compliance activities including those to BIR, PHIC, SSS, HDMF and SEC.
• Direct Supervisor of Cash Management activities for collections and disbursements.
• Direct Supervision of General Ledger and Reporting activities.
• Lead monthly closing activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Month End Closing Activities
• Ensure security and internal controls
• Develop a month end-reporting package for senior management
• Ensure timely submission of audit requests
• Attend audit inquiries
• Timely completion of audit requests
• Timely completion of Audited Financial Statement (AFS)
• Preparation of bank and legal confirmations
• Ensure submission of balance sheet schedules
