Job summary

Connext in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. You will process transactions, prepare reconciliations, and assist with month-end close.

The role covers AP/AR, general ledger, budgeting support, and financial reporting, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables and VLOOKUPs).

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Process invoices, expense reports, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries.
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded according to accounting standards and company procedures.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and documented within established timelines.
• Support accounting activities required for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with budget and forecast preparation as needed.
• Support variance analysis and basic financial reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy.
• Provide financial and administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
• Follow established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintain documentation required for audits and compliance requirements.
• Assist with requests from external auditors, management, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
