Job summary

Connext is seeking an Accountaint 2 to support daily accounting operations in the Philippines. You will assist the Accounting Manager with reconciliations, AP processing, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate records and timely month-end close.

The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and proven ability to work independently in a remote environment. Experience with Dynamics365 and QuickBooks Enterprise is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum five (5) years of accounting experience.
• Minimum two (2) years in a senior-level role within a multi-unit consumer services business.
• Minimum one (1) year of payroll experience.
• Experience with Dynamics365 and Excel.
• Stable employment history.

Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations across multiple accounts.
• Support daily accounting and transactional activities under the Accounting Manager.
• Process accounts payable invoices and assist with vendor payments.
• Monitor Accounts Payable mailbox and ensure timely processing.
• Review and process employee reimbursements and travel & expense transactions.
• Perform data entry, sorting, analysis, and reporting support.
• Maintain accurate records within QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Prepare Excel-based reports using PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting requirements.
• Assist with process improvements and additional accounting tasks as needed.
