Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in QuickBooks
• Prepare and post journal entries for various accounting transactions
• Prepare adjusting entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, corrections, and other necessary adjustments
• Perform bank reconciliation and reconcile cash balances between QuickBooks and bank statements
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, advances, and other general ledger accounts
• Review QuickBooks transactions to identify errors, duplicate entries, unusual balances, and unreconciled items
• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing entries
• Maintain accurate and properly supported accounting schedules and working papers
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between subsidiary records, supporting documents, and the general ledger
• Assist in preparing trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, and other financial reports
• Ensure accounting entries are properly supported by invoices, receipts, vouchers, bank statements, and other relevant documents
• Assist in the preparation of schedules required for audit, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Coordinate with other Finance staff regarding discrepancies and missing accounting documents
• Maintain organized and updated accounting files and records
• Perform other accounting-related tasks that may be assigned by the Finance Manager
